Cisco shares the impact of HTTP/2 on network security

Whilst not mandated in RFC 7540, all browsers implementing HTTP/2.0 require TLS.  As a direct and conscious result we’ll see a rapid and consistent increase in the adoption of TLS.  In this post Cisco explores the protocol changes such as connection re-use and the impact this will have on the existing security model and techniques such as deep packet inspection.
